Course Narrative:
The overall purpose of this year long training is to prepare high school teachers for the Michigan High School Content Expectations and the Michigan Merit Curriculum.
Outcomes:
Teachers will review and discuss content in Geometry. Weak areas will be targeted based on student performance and test results. Alternative teaching methods will be modeled. Successful assessment techniques will be investigated. Ways to incorporate, review, and remediate curriculum will be addressed. Teachers will be able to share effective strategies with colleagues. Teachers will take a look at Geometer’s Sketchpad and how to use it. Technology resources will be investigated.

Non-Consortium: $200
Credit: SB-CEUs and SVSU credit available, pending approval.
Registration fee is waived if the course is taken for SVSU graduate credit.
