Course Description:
From the Board of Education down to the students - everyone is focused and committed to a shared vision and agreed upon goals based on common beliefs and values. At the root of these values is the belief that all students can learn.
Course Objectives:
In this workshop series, staff will revisit their Mission, Vision, Beliefs, and Goals through the lens of high performing schools research. The working group will complete:
- An updated Mission statement (if needed)
- An articulated vision for the school district/building
- Core values and beliefs
- A review of current goals
- A plan for communicating the updated work to staff and community
