Teacher Collaboration: K-2 Grade Math, Day 1

Participants will review and discuss the exit assessment results administered last spring/summer. Areas of weakness across the two-county area will be identified (K: Count, Write and Order Numbers; 1st: Money; 2nd: Money and Simple Word Problems with Money) with opportunities for grade level and cross-district sharing of resources to address the weak areas. Emphasis will be placed on time for collaboration and networking among participants. The focus will be on lessons, manipulatives, web-sites, strategies, best practices, interventions, etc. that can address closing the gap on the GLCE´s that caused the most challenges for students in our service area. Participants should come prepared to share something related to Day 1 topics. Day 2 topics will be identified during Day 1.
