           3rd and 4th Grade Math Exit Test Revisions [A]
Participants will: Review and discuss the Center-wide results of the Spring 2009 Math Exit Tests for 3rd and 4th grade. Learn a process for reviewing assessment items for alignment to the GLCEs to ensure items that are valid and reliable. Review the 3rd and 4th Grade Assessments and revise as needed. Discuss the structure, format and administration of the test and make revisions as needed.
           Middle School Math Algebra Readiness for All

           Teacher Collaboration: 3-5 Grade Math, Day 1
Participants will review and discuss the exit assessment results administered last spring/summer. Areas of weakness across the two-county area will be identified (3rd: Fractions, 4th: Decimals, 5th: Measurement) with opportunities for grade level and cross-district sharing of resources to address the weak areas. Emphasis will be placed on time for collaboration and networking among participants. The focus will be on lessons, manipulatives, web-sites, strategies, best practices, interventions, etc. that can address closing the gap on the GLCE´s that caused the most challenges for students in our service area. Participants should come prepared to share something related to Day 1 topics. Day 2 topics will be identified during day 1.
