DESCRIPTION:
This Curriculum-based workshop is open to all teachers and administrators who want to explore and create learning experiences which empower students to honor human diversity.
Participants Will . . .
- explore basic principles through a combination of hands-on activities and lectures,
- hear special presentations centered on understanding prejudice and racism, and
- experience effective cultural awareness strategies that value diversity.
Each participant will receive a curriculum notebook tailored to the school level (elementary, middle & high school) that they are teaching.

- Prerequisite: Honoring Diversity I or Attended a Gary Howard Cultural Conference.
