- Flagstone Elementary Probationary Teachers
DESCRIPTION:
- This annual training address the complex needs of intern teachers as fas as content is concerned. Each topic is timely and necessary for interns to successfully complete the requirements of teaching at Flagstone as well as within Douglas County School District.
Course Info:
- Session 1 - Infinite Campus and First Class Resources, Flagstone Server access, resources available
- Session 2 - Elementary Progress Report Grading Practices: grade books, policies Parent Communication : email, voicemail, newsletters, student planners
- Session 3 - Concerns about Students: Student assistance Team process, referral to ISS ILP and logistics
- Session 4 - Elementary Progress Reports and Student-Parent-Teacher conferences: time frame, what to expect, how to have students present their learninhg
- Session 5 - CSAP expectations and preparation: best practices in assessment
- Session 6 - End of Year procedures: gathering student portfolio data, EPRs, retention policy, etc.
